A Glimpse of North
CEL or Computer Ease Limited , a software farm at Lal Matia beside Aarong. That's where my friend Romel (Kanchu) works and where he , his friend Jony and I got the assignment around late October 2006. State’s political condition had gone severe at that time following the deadly street battle in front of Baitul-Mukarram between two political parties. I got the clearance from CEL to set off when the condition calmed down dramatically as the army took over the streets.
My duty was to cover the northern part. Starting from the GPDC at Dinajpur I was asked to update the software (STS) with a given patch file at Rangpur, Bagura, Rajshahi and Pabna.
Three years later the second assignment recently completed at two Warid Franchises in Jamalpur and Sherpur recalls some memories of the first one. All those memories and realization of these two assignments influenced me to write some thing here.
What ever I write here would be very much out of my personal observation on North Bengal in rushing tours. But my intention is to make an appeal to the concerning authority as well as to the common people to heal the economic condition of some northern districts with private and government investment in various prospective sectors.
