Talk about restoring old Pakistani style of turning around, what could have been a better instance than tonight’s encounter...!!! What a partnership it was ..!! Subhyan Allah...!! To give a single word expression about it, I ‘d say magnifi-splen-awesome-ndous would not just be enough. This is to me the much better, if not the best, ODI partnership in a long long time....from Pakistan team Alhamdulillah, it changes a lot of things for the better. Chasing 247 getting to a hopeless situation stage with 123 for7 and then winning the match is undoubtedly something extraordinary from Pakistan. This century partnership between Afridi and Sohail brings back that old confidence of “The Unpredictable Pakistan”, what I guess we haven’t seen much after the 90’s. This talented young boy Harris Sohail will remember this partnership with a very uncharacteristic and sensible Afridi. If somebody goes through his innings he didn’t provide any chance to the oppositions going less than or just around run a ball strike rate till 30 and then ending up with a run out after getting 61 of 51. The most classic part was that Shahid Afridi was fruitfully chicky with the bat in response to the chicky slower deliveries from this new Queue quicker sensation “AF Milne”. This impressive young lad was consistently mixing up some 111 km or 115 km tricky back-of-the-hand slower deliveries with his 145 to 156 km/h cases. But ironically, ended up without any wicket on his tally tonight. At one point when Pakistan was tottering with a score of 124 for 7 in the 31st over of this chasing innings, in came the forgotten smashing and dashing sensation Boom Boom Afridi amid a “hardly any hope” situation for the team. With his sensible innings he also let his team setting a winning response to Ross Taylor’s brilliant century in the queue innings with a similar initially struggle.

......আকাশ ভরা , স্বপ্ন ঝরা , আকুল করা জোছনা .....
Confined home for last ten days. Actually suffering from a brand new
physical complexity for the first time in life. And it turned so severe that I had
to extend my leave for a week more. Suffered a great deal indeed. But,
Alhamdulillah, things have improved a lot and hope to join work this
Sunday In shaa Allah. All this time I was so occupied with this illness that I
couldn't actually enjoy a single day as a pure holiday and was regretting my
inability to sort out some personal affairs. You know ... like starting my
thesis work , finding a good job to get out of this contract, talking to the
GRE coaching center (again!!) to find me a new batch to start all over again,
Finding a Data Science training program to apply for etc..etc... .
Somehow, all on a sudden I am again pushed towards a bit of hotchpotch with all my plans. But, there is a brighter side of this, what I am calling 'a mess'. I get to spend a few days with my parents and realized what I was missing for a while. Parents really are one of the greatest blessings of Allah.
Tonight when I have finally started writing a new post for my blog , I decided I should give it a title that I like or enjoy and have missed writing about in last one month or so. Yuh!!, it's that old moonlight fantasy. Cause right now the entire surrounding seems bathing with this mesmeric lunar flash. I think I should not call it a mere fantasy. At this time of the year I 've really enjoyed it all through my life like a spellbound spectator. So I don't really know the exact word. Well, whatever be the expression the word of thankfulness to it's Creator, Provider and Owner is even more pleasing: " Subhyan Allah "

Recalling Memories of the Final Match of FIFA World Cup 1990 ( Argentina Vs West Germany )
Need I say that like many others now I am recalling the memories of
world cup final match of 1990 !!? 24 years ago as a 8/9 years old boy of
class 4, I had to watch my favorite team Dona's Tina (Maradona's
Argentina) ended up with 9 men on the field after getting 2 red cards
from Codesal , the Mexican Referee. Maradona was being repetitively
attacked and knocked down by the German players but all those attacks seemed just okay to Codesal. West Germany ended up winning that final 1-0 as that unforgettable world cup final referee Edgardo Codesal
awarded them a controversial penalty at the 85th minute. I don’t
remember the previous world cup ’86 , Because, I was only 4 or 5 then. But
hearing so much about Maradona from my parents and many others in
Barisal Polytechnic Institute, wasn’t I so eager to witness him becoming
the hero of champion Argentina again !!? But this time 'like many others'
I wish to have In shaa Allah, a clean and fair game from both the teams and no
more referees like Codesal who lifted his hands with joy blowing
the final whistle of that match.
Few words on that incredible semifinal between Brazil and Germany
Argentina had Messi , Brazil had Neymar , Portugal
had Ronaldo and it seems to me only Germany had a team.....!!! (yet to see
Netherlands in a semifinal triumph this time ). I'm not a hardcore fan of
Brazil , I rather used to support Argentina for a long time since world
cup 1990. But watching last night's semi final , I can't imagine how the
Brazilian ex-superstars like Romario , Ronaldo , Ronaldinho , Kaka , my
favorite left winger Roberto Carlos etc., were feeling at those excruciating moments . It was
really a terrible shocker what I guess they never had anticipated to experience in
their own backyard. Germany on the other hand, held on to their always formidable ' Power Football ' very confidently and effectively. They have
mastered the art very well to deliver it on the field against any opponent in
the most organized manner compared to any other team who might have tried that approach. Now! , in this world cup ,
they finally are looking incredibly and deservingly very close to get the
ultimate reward of sticking to that matchless style of their own.

Majestic Return of the Carribean Power Cricket
Ma
shaa Allah, the atmosphere just outside around the stadium was really
something to take note of.....!!! They didn’t have tickets to get in, neither
was there any giant screen installed outside the stadium... But that
didn’t cause any lack in the enthusiasm of these wonderful local people
of Mirpur.... Watching them having a happy hangout along with their
families under the colorfully decorated streetlights,
finding out some new friends, gossiping and having a good time with
them made the evening really refreshing to me Alhamdulillah. My home
team, Bangladesh had already lost the first match of the day against
Australia. It was the last match for both the teams to take at least one
win from this Super 10 round of this tournament. No wonder, Australia
won it convincingly despite a much better show from the hosts in their
batting innings. In the next match my favorite foreign cricket team
Pakistan (Our bitterly and sweetly related departed brothers) was up
against the charged up Windies. I was sitting with my new friends on the
island of the street (blocked for vehicles, in match hours) where
peoples of the neighborhood were freely roaming and enjoying the
decorated lights and fireworks. And time to time was asking a boy
earring on a cell radio, sitting just behind me, ”What’s the score
now...!!”. At a stage W.indies were limping with 84/5 in 14 overs. The
loud sound of cheers from the gallery was still making us enchanted. ....Then started the terrible Caribbean storm with Bravo and Sammy blasting
off the next 6 overs for 82 runs....!!! Just then our heart sank a
little feeling this could be the decisive turnaround of the match. And
so it happened... ... They
continued with that momentum wrapping up Pakistan for 82 wining the
match by 84 runs..... And one indeed can say Calypso tune of power
cricket is getting back in a majestic style......

Way Forward to Stronger Pakistan and Bangladesh
Talking to a good number of people in Pakistan over the net, I sensed a pathetic and self-destructive practice of hatred among them. The extent of that hatred is sometimes so alarming that, to me, they do not seem to even stand the existence of their own countrymen over different cultures or provinces or even different castes of the same religion. I am a Bengali-speaking Bangladeshi and I don't know much Urdu…but sentences like,
......Sindhi log aisa hote hai…
.........Punjabi log waisahi hote hai…,
........ tum bangali log gaddar ho…
..............aur Pathaan to pucho maat….Pathano se mujhe shadeed nafrat hai….!! ….really hurt me ….
Because I care, I care about a united Pakistan … the way it started in 1947. Now, as I said earlier, I don't know Urdu very well but it is easy to understand that "Shadeed Nafraat" means the deepest hatred or loath. Believe it or not, I still believe that the young generation of both Bangladesh and Pakistan has got the power to overcome all those animosities to become two brotherly Muslim majority nations in this subcontinent. They just need to learn to respect each other and respect each other's culture no matter whatever difference there be. They should have respect for the freedom struggle of a nation, the liberation war of 1971.
The youth of Bangladesh are still being taught to hate Pakistan (desperation of a quarter as if they can wipe out the core concept of global Muslim brotherhood) for a war that took place 43 years ago…!! At the same time, I get the same amount of hatred for us from our Pakistani brothers. Sometimes they even deny proven allegations of genocide and atrocities by the West Pakistan Army in 1971…..!!!
...And both these rancorous circles of these two nations feel comfortable in this hatred. These guys like to live with it and refresh it from time to time with any opportunity they find.
In case they run out of issues to reinvigorate this hatred, their continuous research or the enemy-sponsored propaganda machine comes up with an out-of-the-blue new bone of contention, that periodically spark-ignites this old detestation....!
This is ridiculous guys…!!! I mean..., how long should this be the picture….!!? When will both these nations or just one of 'em call it a day…!!!?
Muslim brothers in two different pieces of land who had lived as one single Muslim nation for 24 years are still practicing extreme dislike and disrespect for each other even now, 43 years after a bloodbath, that caused the separation….!!
... And that pathetic battle between brothers was too caused by two decades of distrust, discrimination, and oppression….!!! How long should we all keep being the victim of this conspiracy of abhorrence between our own people (so much to the delight of our enemies)…!!!? Cause they know that this mechanism of hatred between people of Pakistan and it's sectarian clashes worked for the cutting off of East Pakistan and now it is very likely to work for Balochistan too… (May Allah save us from that)
..................I say that’s enough…...............!!!
Bondho koro aishob…. ghrina, ar hingsha–biddesh…
Aab bass karo….yaar…
Apne vaiyome yie nafrat, nafrat or ‘shadeed nafrat’ ke khel ban karo….
I have seen the delight in the face of Bangladeshi people at the stadium and all around it when Pakistan is playing well in a match. I have also seen how the government’s invoking of a ban on carrying Pakistani flags provoked the local people to do the opposite and increased their support for Pakistan even more in the later matches…!! ......That's a clear indication of love for our brothers staying hundreds of miles apart.... And a desperate effort to redeem the agony that we had to get separated from our own brothers through a bloodbath...
......Let me place a realistic view of it.. Suppose a foreigner has entered the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka to watch an International cricket match being played between India and Pakistan. Entering the stadium he/she will see
......Let me place a realistic view of it.. Suppose a foreigner has entered the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka to watch an International cricket match being played between India and Pakistan. Entering the stadium he/she will see
- almost all the advertising boards around the ground and the compound are of Indian companies.
- The telecaster of this match is Indian.
- The title sponsor of the tournament is Indian.
- The wicket curator has confirmed that it will help the Indian bowling attack.
- The anchor and the commentators are mostly Indian.
- The only foreign flag, Bangladeshi fans are allowed to carry to the gallery is of India.
- Even the little kids who are holding players hands walking out for the national anthem are Indians.
Then where is Bangladesh..!!?
...Wait... !, Let the match start...!
...................The match starts.................!!
Now the foreigner finds around three fourth of the total crowd cheering for Pakistan..!!!
At last, he/she realizes the match is being played in a Bangladeshi venue....!!!!!
............Amazing ....!!!! Isn't it...!!!?
Then brothers, what are we actually waiting for for…!!?
Let’s do something effective to save our nations from destruction and from continuous conspiracies. I don’t know about any other but personally, I feel that just being complacent forming or joining a Facebook group with a name like Re-unite Pakistan or East Pakistan and posting different thoughts of reuniting is not going help our purpose. This sort of groups can themselves be a ploy of the enemies to detect the hidden desire of the people of these two nations which once was a single country for 24 years. Let’s make a road-map to our goal and then follow it accordingly.
Like momentarily take the below-mentioned collection of points as an instance.
Way Forward to Stronger Pakistan and Bangladesh:
1. Mutual hatred and sectarian & ethnic clashes need to be eliminated or minimized. And that will start with our practice of avoiding the use of such words against Punjabi , Sindhi , Bangali or Baluchi brothers. From now on, In shaa Allah, we will pay respect to other casts and cultures of people. Cuzz, I believe united, stronger and prospective Pakistan and Bangladesh with the right sort of mindset and attitude of people is the pre-requisite of everything.
2. We need to understand that the main obstacle for the people of Bangladesh for extending their full and unfastened support for Pakistan is the very deep wound of the genocide and brutalities of 1971 caused by the Pakistan Army and it’s local collaborators. When the war was over, 195 officers of that army were pointed out for trial for carrying out massacres on innocent people of this region in 1971 but they were handed over to Pakistan later on by Sheikh Muzib.
..... People there in Pakistan remembers it as a pathetic civil war that ended in a surrender of the custodian or guardian force Pakistan Army and the fall of Dhaka, the capital of the province of they lost......
........ Here, people in Bangladesh take it as their great liberation war that ended in a defeat of Pakistan Army, the raiding or attacking force and the rise of Dhaka as the capital of the free and independent country they have earned sacrificing thousands of lives.......
Now we admit it or not this in fact is the "Bloody Unresolved Matter" that is blocking the official restoration of intimacy between these two countries.
However, a large section of Bangladeshi people has shown their intimacy and support for Pakistan in numerous occasions of Pakistan Cricket team playing any match against any other foreign team in Bangladesh. And the entire cricketing world is aware of this matter despite the desperation of Harsha Vougle or the Indian media to cover it. Now, all it needs is a reply from the Pakistani people.
In Facebook, I have seen pictures of a group of Pakistani people holding placards and banners saying something like"Sorry for 71's genocide". Demonstrations like these mean that there are people in Pakistan who do feel sorry for what happened to Bengali people in that war and how this part of the country got apart. Continuation of such expressions of feelings, love and sympathy from both sides promises brighter days of brotherhood, In shaa Allah.
Now officially a sincere apology from Pakistan government for the proven cases of massacres by Pakistan Army will bring a huge and dramatic change in the conditions. At the same time, Bangladesh should also admit and apologize for the same proven allegations of killing Pakistani citizens or Biharis. But that should never be made in the reign of this Pro-Indian government in Bangladesh. But, how many of you think that people should wait or will wait for this official generosity from both the governments!!?

3. There should be intelligent and conscious people working behind the patriot politicians of Pakistan not to commit anymore mistake of hurling any condemning statement on the trial of war criminals in Bangladesh. Because if they do it , trust me, the conspirators will not miss that chance to provoke Bangladeshi people against Pakistan.
................................................................................................................................................
4. Let's take a look at a Facebook posting in Bangla from one of my friends : "র" এর অফিস বাংলাদেশের বিমান বন্দরে।
What my friend said in a Bengali posting on his wall is some thing like "Now RAW(Research and Analysis Wing : Primary External Intelligence Agency of the Republic of India ) has it's office at main Airport of Bangladesh..!! So how does that feel/sound now !!? What does your conscience/patriotic spirit say about it !!? Who is the RAZAKAR now !!?(RAZAKAR : The leading group of Pakistan Army's collaborators in 1971's liberation war of Bangladesh). Now will you all go for a demonstration surrounding the Indian High- Commission in Dhaka !!? I ask the spirit bearers" My friend placed the question to the so called bearers of the spirit of our liberation war 1971 , who just a few months ago demonstrated surrounding the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka. It was on a protest of a bill that was raised and passed in Pakistan Parliament condemning the death sentence given to a war criminal by the War Crime Tribunal court in Bangladesh. Now it's my turn to say something about it personally.
Awami Fascism has once again arrived in our country wrapped up in the national flag, chanting the slogans of liberation war and waving the banner of 'Trial of The War Criminals'..
......Now the question is "Is it now a matter of time that we see that this fascist pro-Indian government officially hands over Bangladesh to India ..!!?"........ If you ask me , Personally I would say...." Well... , looking at the proceedings ie. looking at the cultural aggression , commercial take overs , administrative take overs , prioritizing government bodies to help the free flowing Indian Intelligence , re-sworning of the Pro-Indian party in the government without any acceptable election, I have a very bad feelings about it. Personally I doubt Bangladesh as a sovereign nation would make it to the middle of this century. Yes, I am indicating the 'By 2047' master-plan of our enemy... "
Now I invite you people to put down your ideas , comments , any more points if you like to add with those or even any correction you’d like to make in my whole statement. But guys please keep it up and running, keep sharing it... as far as possible for the sake of the goal…. May Allah help us all.

Flying Dutch Men and Crawling Tigers
Netherlands
obviously has got much better body language than Bangladesh coming into
this ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2014 , Ma shaa Allah... Look at their fielding, bowling and their typical
dutch guts to stand strong against a top side like South Africa..!
It's just amazing...Subhyan Allah..!! They have proved that their flying entry into the main round blowing away Ireland smashing 193/4 in just 13.5 overs was not just a fluke. I don't think their skipper Peter Borren would ever
say any thing like " We have nothing to lose in this match .. :( ..."
before even getting into the field. They were all through positive in
this tournament. Coming back from the batting collapse (39 all out) in their
previous match against Srilanka, they seemed to have gone more positive with an
astonishing bounce back. What ever be the result of their immediate past
they are never likely to give up the positive body language. To me,
that's the beauty of the men in orange who are tagged as an associate
team as of yet. That should be the ideal spirit of a team taking part in a world
competition.
I just imagine in ICC trophy 1997, had Akram Khan (Captained the unbeaten champion Bangladesh team in that tournament) not played those match saving innings against Scotland and Netherlands then these dutch sailors would have already rocked the cricketing world by now. I'd like to share a comment of a disgruntled Bangladeshi cricket fan in Facebook. "South Africa would have lost the match for sure had they been captained by Mushfiqur Rahim tonight. Mushfiq, the Bangladesh skipper, should take lessons from the way SA skipper, Fuf Du Plessis utilized his bowlers to win this nail biter against these charged up dutch men"

A day of elation and agony (and of lessons) Alhamdulillah......... and then re-activating FB
Now, as I said on my FB , this might have been the 8th or 9th loss of cell phone for me, Innalillah!! .............Most probably it fell out of my trouser’s waist pocket, once again....!!
There are 2 reasons that my phones have always been the cheapest ones of the market.
1. That's what I can afford...
and... 2. I keep losing it...!!
.......I mean that has been the story so far....
and... 2. I keep losing it...!!
.......I mean that has been the story so far....
“When would I actually call it a day for this sort of silly carelessness?”
“As a man of 32 from a middle-class family what should have been the level of my sense of responsibility!!?”
“Where am I standing right now (personally or professionally)....!!?”
Now the perilous thing with these questions is that like most of my country men I seem to get used to with these agonies at some stage and become numb and number or more insensitive to the call of time.
One day, I decided that, God willing, I will set a meaningful standard for my life before I finally consider myself to be getting old. I can’t allow myself to become so comfortably numb!
Now, come to the point of the numbness of the people of this land. They saw how the ruling party has retained the throne with near about 150 of total 300 sits being taken without any pole and the rests were sworn in with a 5% vote casts while the main opposition stayed away from this government party led election. From a Rickshaw-Puller to a Business lord, everybody knows what in fact has happened at the advent of and at the time of the pole and also what is happening now.
But they all along with the opposition seem to be quite okay and very much comfortable with it.
USA is giving no certain commitments to reinstate GSP for our garments, foreign relations and investments are at stake with not enough recognition for this government, local investors are thinking of moving their businesses out of this country, a threat of another world wide recession at any time is now on, country’s cricket’s future is clearly threatened by the BCB supported arguable petition of the 3 self declared cricket lords... and we all are just okay with all these...!!
You know what the amazing thing about all these numbness or lacks of sensibility is !!!? It’s not all so unpromising In shaa Allah. If an apparently insensible, irresponsible and careless boy like me can get through such critical stages successfully in his educational, professional and personal life by the rahmat (blessing) of Allah then the nation of freedom fighters and hard-working people will very likely bounce back finding a way out of this uncertainty In shaa Allah. I hope the ruling party ,the opposition ie. all the politicians of this country will realize their responsibility and the commitment to this nation some day In shaa Allah. May Allah help us all.
