কিছু কিছু বিভ্রান্ত দুর্বল ঈমানের মুসলমানদের হিনমন্নতা প্রসঙ্গে

 আর পারছিনা !! আর চুপ করে থাকাটা ঠিক হবে না। আজকে আমার এ ব্যাপারে কিছু বলা দরকার :

প্রথমে তুলে ধরছিইলসাম এবং এর অনুসারী মুসলমানদের বিরুদ্ধে বিধর্মীদের এক সুনিপুন ষড়যন্ত্র মূলক কিছু কথা :

লর্ড বার্নার্ড' শ বলেছিলেন, "ইসলাম হচ্ছে শ্রেষ্ঠ ধর্ম এবং মুসলমানরা হচ্ছে সর্ব নিকৃষ্ট অনুসারী।"

"ইসলামিক দেশগুলি কতখানি ইসলামিক এই নিয়ে গবেষণা করেন জর্জ ওয়াশিংটন ইউনিভার্সিটির অধ্যাপক হুসেন আসকারী। ইসলাম ধর্মে রাষ্ট্র ও সমাজ চলার যে বিধান দেয়া হয়েছে তা যে দেশগুলি প্রতিদিনের জীবনে মেনে চলে তা খুঁজতে যেয়ে দেখা গেলো,-- যারা সত্যিকার ভাবে ইসলামিক বিধানে চলে তারা কেউ বিশ্বাসী মুসলিম দেশ নয়।

স্টাডিতে দেখা গেছে সবচেয়ে ইসলামিক বিধান মেনে চলা দেশ হচ্ছে নিউজিল্যান্ড এবং দ্বিতীয় অবস্থানে লুক্সেমবার্গ। তারপর এসেছে পর্য্যায়ক্রমে আয়ারল্যান্ড, আইসল্যান্ড, ফিনল্যান্ড, ডেনমার্ক ষষ্ঠ ও কানাডা সপ্তম অবস্থানে। মালয়েশিয়া ৩৮তম, কুয়েত ৪৮তম, বাহরাইন ৬৪তম, এবং অবাক করা কান্ড সৌদি আরব ১৩১তম অবস্থানে। গ্লোবাল ইকোনমি জার্নালে প্রকাশিত এই গবেষণায় বাংলাদেশের অবস্থান সৌদীদেরও নীচে।

গবেষণায় দেখা গেছে, মুসলমানরা নামাজ, রোজা, সুন্নাহ, কোরআন, হাদিস, হিজাব, দাড়ি, লেবাস নিয়ে অতি সতর্ক কিন্তু রাষ্ট্রীয়, সামাজিক ও পেশাগত জীবনে ইসলামের আইন মেনে চলেনা।

এবার সবার আগে বলুন যে এই মুসলিমদের খেলাফত, রাষ্ট্র , সরকার ব্যবস্থা , সমাজ , সংস্কৃতি সর্বমোট কত শত বছর এই বিধর্মী ষড়যন্ত্র কারীদের মাথাব্যথার কারণ হয়েছিল। আর সেই সময়টাতে মুসলমানদের মধ্যে পাশ্চাত্যের বিধর্মীদের এরকম উদ্ভট বক্তব্যকে প্রশ্রয় দিয়ে প্রচার করে নিজ জাতিকে ঘৃণা করার হীনমন্যতা ছিল কিনা। নাকি ব্যাপারটা ছিল পুরোপুরি উল্টো। মানে মুসলমানদের নিজেদের ধর্মের প্রতি আনুগত্য , তাদের , শিক্ষা , সংস্কৃতি , শরিয়া , সরকার ব্যবস্থা , সমাজ ব্যবস্থা, বিজ্ঞান , চিকিৎসা, ব্যবসা , আধুনিক স্থাপত্য কলা ইত্যাদি বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে মুসলমানদের অগ্রগতি দেখে বিধর্মীরা নিজেদের সম্পর্কে এধরণের ধারণা পোষণ করতো !!?

লক্ষ্য করে দেখুন , যেদিন থেকে আমরা মুসলমানেরা ঠিক এইভাবে আমাদের আলেমে দিন, প্রসিদ্ধ ইমাম গণ , নিজেদের শরিয়া , কুরআন , হাদিস থেকে দূরে সরে গিয়ে বা তাদেরকে অগ্রাহ্য করে বার্নার্ডশ এর মতো এরকম আরো অনেক বিধর্মী মনীষী, বিজ্ঞানী, রাজনীতিবিদ, ব্যাবসায়ী , ধর্মযাজক প্রভৃতি জনের ইসলাম এবং ইসলামের অনুসারী মুসলমানদের সম্পর্কে তাদের হাস্যকর অব্জার্ভেশনকে বিশ্বাস করতে শুরু করেছি তখনথেকেই আমাদের , মানে মুসলমানদের পতনের শুরু হয়েছে। এখন আমরা মুসলমানেরা ক্লিনটন, বুশ , ওবামা এই তিন সাবেক মার্কিন প্রেসিডেন্ট এর ছবি পোস্ট দিয়ে তার নিচে অনেক আবেগ ভরা কোথায় লিখি এরাই নাকি প্রকৃত ইসলামিক নিয়মে নিজেদের দেশকে পরিচালিত করেছেন। আমি বেশি জুটি তর্ক আর বিশ্লেষণ মূলক কথা বলে আপনাদের সময় নষ্ট করবো না। কারণ, আমি জানি অনেক মুসলমান ভাই পাশ্চাত্যের প্রচারমাধ্মের চাকচিক্য ভরা চেহারা আর তার বিপরীতে বর্তমান মুসলিম দেশ গুলোর দুর্বলতা গুলোকে তুলে ধরে , তাদেরই "বিজ্ঞগণের" দেয়া বিশ্লেষণে একেবারে বিমোহিত হয়ে আছেন। আপনাদের কথা কি বলবো !! আমি নিজেইতো সারাজীবন ইংরেজি শিখবো, ইংরেজি শিখবো , আমেরিকান কিংবা ইংরেজদের মতো করে ইংরেজি বলবো করে এসেছি। তার দশভাগের এক ভাগ আগ্রহ তো আমি আরবি শেখার জন্যে কখনো প্রকাশ করিনি। যাইহোক , বর্তমান বাস্তবিকতার সাপেক্ষেই সব মুসলমান ভাইদের একটি হিসাব করতে অনুগ্রহ করছি। যেকোনো মুসলিম প্রধান এবং মোটামুটি ইসলামিক আইন মেনে চলা দেশের সমাজ এর সাথে যেকোনো অমুসলিম দেশের সমাজের একটি তুলনা করতে বলছি। মুসলিম বিশ্বের সবচাইতে দুর্বল সামাজিক এবং রাষ্ট্রীয় নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থার একটি দেশ তুলে নিন, এই ধরুন আফগানিস্তান, লিবিয়া অথবা সিরিয়া। আর এবার বিধর্মীদের উন্নত বিশ্বের আপাত দৃষ্টিতে সবচাইতে শান্তিময় কোনো দেশ তুলেনিন। ধরুন নিউজিল্যান্ড, সুইজারল্যান্ড, ডেন্মার্ক্, লুক্সমেম্বারগ , কানাডা বা আপনার যেটা ইচ্ছা। এবার একজন মুসলমান হিসেবে চিন্তা করুন কোন দেশের সামাজিক ব্যবস্থাতে ইসলামিক নিয়ম রীতি পালনে , আপনার সন্তানকে পুরোপুরি ইসলামিক রীতিতে লালন পালন এবং শিক্ষা প্রদানে আপনি বেশি সাবলীল !!? ........পোশাক-আশাক এবং চাল-চলনে অশালীনতা, অবাধ যৌনাচার, বিবাহ বহির্ভুত সম্পর্ক, বৈবাহিক সম্পর্কের অস্থিতিশীলতা, পারিবারিক এবং আত্মীয়তার সম্পর্কের দুর্বল অবস্থা, বর্ণ বৈষম্য এবং ধর্ম বৈষম্য মূলক অপরাধ , সমকামিতার মতো নিকৃষ্ট ধ্বংসাত্মক অপরাধ কোন দেশগুলোর সমাজে বেশি !!? ....................................................................

শেষ করবো আমার ব্যাক্তিগত একটি অভিজ্ঞতা দিয়ে। একদিন আবুধাবি এর মেরিনা তে আরেকজন বাংলাদেশির সঙ্গে হাটছি। সকালের রৌদ্রোজ্জ্বল সুন্দর পরিবেশ। এর মাঝে দেখা হলো বেশ বয়স্ক এক জার্মান দম্পত্তির সাথে। তারা নিজেথেকেই আমাদের ফোন নিয়ে দুজনের এক সাথে ছবি তুলে দিলেন। তারপর অনেকটা মিষ্টি সুরে একটা অভিযোগ করে বসলেন। " এটা না তোমাদের মুসলমানদের দেশ !!? তাহলে আমরা যে হোটেলে উঠেছি , সেখানে রাতের বেলা কেন এতো হৈ - চৈ, মিউজিক , নাচানাচি আর ওই সব !!? আমরাতো এই দেশে একটু শান্তিময় পরিবেশ ভেবে এসেছি " এই ধরণের একটি অভিযোগ।

আমার প্রগলভ বাংলাদেশী মন এই অপমানটা সহ্য করে অথবা মেনে নিয়ে মোটামুটি একটা উত্তর দিয়ে দিলাম , "আসলে আমাদের দেশ বাংলাদেশ এটা নয়। এটা আরব আমিরাত, কাগজে কলমে যদিও মুসলমানদের দেশ তবে তারা পাশ্চাত্য সংস্কৃতিকেই নিজেদের করে নিয়েছে হয়তো। "

সেই সফরেই দুবাইতে একটি বিশাল বিপণিবিতানে লিফটের সামনে গিয়ে দাঁড়াতেই এক মার্কিন বা কানাডিয়ান মহিলা বেশ ক্রুর শোর আমাদের ভর্ৎসনা করতে লাগলেন , ওহীল চেয়ার এ বসা তার মা কিংবা বাবাকে পাশ কাটিয়ে কেন আমরা লিফটের সামনে এসে দাঁড়ালাম, অথচ এতো মানুষের মাঝে ব্যাপারটা আমরা লক্ষই করিনি। আমি তার কাছে বার বার ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করতে করতে লক্ষ্য করলাম, সেই পাশ্চাত্যে মহিলাটি আমাদের ক্ষমা প্রার্থনার প্রতি কোনো ভ্রুক্ষেপই করছেন না , বরং আরো কিছুক্ষন তার ক্ষোভ ঝেড়ে তার বাবা কিংবা মা কে লিফটে উঠিয়ে বিদায় নিলেন , অনেকটা বিজয়ীর বেশে।

শেষ কথা হলো তেরোশো বছরের মুসলিম খিলাফতের শৌর্য এবং পরাক্রমতার কাছে তাদের হেরে যাওয়া এবং পিছিয়ে থাকাটা , আমাদের কেউ কেউ ভুলে গেলেও এই বিধর্মীরা , এই বিধর্মী মনীষীরা ভুলে যায়নি। তারা সব সময়ই চায় যাতে দুর্বল ঈমানের মুসলমানেরা নিজেদের ব্যাপারে তাদেরই চাপিয়ে দেয়া এরকম চায়ভুগে মানসিক ভাবে দুর্বল হয়ে , তাদেরকে আদর্শ হিসেবে বেছে নেই। তাছাড়া কিছুদিন আগে শুনলাম পবিত্র কুরআন শরীফে উল্লেখ করা আছে যে ইহুদি-নাসারাগণ ততক্ষন পর্যন্ত কোনো মুসলমানের উপরে খুশি হবেন না যতক্ষণ না সে তাদের ধর্মের অনুসারী না হন। নাউযুবিল্লাহ বিন জালিক। আল্লাহ আমাদেরকে বুঝার তৌফিক দেন করুন। আমিন।

Unplanned Deforestation Affecting Wildlife - crayoned by a 5-year-old

Work of my 5-year-old niece. She came up with a pretty interesting story for this, or maybe that was her key idea, the theme behind this drawing. According to her, there are two lumberjacks in 'not so comfy' condition in this picture. One is under attack by a bee or bees because he chopped off a tree holding the hive. And the other one is being poked by a bird. Yes, you guessed right!! The culprit just cut off the tree it was nesting....!! Ma Shaa Allah a pretty concise depiction of disturbance in wildlife as an immediate effect of unplanned deforestation all observed by a 5-year-old as I look at it. Well, schools are off because of the pandemic, but that could hardly halt imaginations in fresh infant minds... Ma shaa Allah, Al Hhamdulillah. May Allah bless her with such creatively caring works all through her life, Ameen.

কি ছিল এটা ভাই !!?

এমনই এক দেশ , এমনই আজব এক জাতি, কাগজে কলমে যার ভূখণ্ড , সরকার , মিলিটারি , পুলিশ, প্রশাসন , আইন- আদালত সবই আছে। এমনকি তাদের দাবি, তাদের নাকি যুদ্ধ করে দেশ স্বাধীন করার ইতিহাসও আছে ( যখন তাদের বলতে গেলে এসবের কিছুই ছিল না ) । আরো মারাত্মক ব্যাপার , মাতৃভাষার জন্যে জীবন দেয়ার তাদের যে ইতিহাস , এটা নাকি দুনিয়াতে আর কোনো জাতির নেই । তারপরও, তাজা তরুণ টগবগে রক্তের এক শিক্ষার্থী কে উপন্যাসের , " কাদুম্বিনীর" মতো মরিয়াই প্রমান করিতে  হইলো যে , তাদের কোনো কোনো হতভাগ্যের হৃদয়ে  সার্বভৌমত্বের  চেতনা এখনও মরে  নাই । আচ্ছা ভাই বলুনতো , এটা এই চুয়ান্ন হাজার বর্গমাইলের মানুষগুলিকে নিয়ে কোনো তামাশা নাতো !!?................................ কারণ দেখুন না , সেই ১৯০৫ সনের বঙ্গভঙ্গ আন্দোলন থেকে এই পূর্ববঙ্গের শোষিত - বঞ্চিত মুসলিম জনগোষ্ঠী স্বপ্ন দেখে আসছিলো ব্রিটিশ শাসক কিংবা হিন্দু জমিদার দের থেকে মুক্ত হয়ে মুসলমানদের আলাদা স্বাধীন রাষ্ট্র হবে। সে স্বপ্ন আল্লাহ এর অশেষ রহমতে ১৯৪৭ এ যখন পূরণও হলো। তখন এই ঢাকার মাটিতে নাকি জামাত করে শোকরানা নফল আদায় করা হয়েছিল। তার মানে ৪৬ সন থেকে শুরু হওয়া রায়ট , হিন্দু -মুসলিম হানাহানির পরও স্বাধীন পাকিস্তান রাষ্ট্র পাওয়াতে এই অঞ্চলের মানুষ খুশিই হয়েছিল। কিন্তু তারপর চব্বিশ বছরে কি হলো দেখুন। ...। তৎকালীন মাথামোটা পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানী শাসক গোষ্ঠীর শোষণ বঞ্চনার একটার পর একটা তামাশা , আর সেটাকে পুঁজি করে পুরোনো শত্রু, দাদাদের একটার পর একটা পাল্টা তামাশা আর ধোঁকা বাজি। শেষে আবার যুদ্ধ , প্রাণ হানি (এই চুয়ান্ন হাজার বর্গমাইলের মানুষেরই প্রাণ যেখানে বেশি গেলো) আর ২৪ বছর পর গিয়ে এই অঞ্চলের মানুষের জন্যে আরেকটা নুতন স্বাধীন দেশ , এই দেশের মানুষেরই সরকার। আবারো হাজারটা রঙিন স্বপ্ন ...!!!...... যুদ্ধ বিদ্ধস্ত , অভাব গ্রস্থ দেশে দুইবেলা পেটে ভাত ঠিক মতো কয়জনের জুটতো !!? কিন্তু স্বপ্ন ছিল টনটনে !!....... আমার জন্ম তো ৮১ সনে। ৭১ এর ১৬ই ডিসেম্বর এর মানুষের উল্লাস দেখিনি । তবে , পড়েছি, শুনেছি আর যারা শুনিয়েছেন তাদের চোখ দেখে অনুভব করেছি, এটা নাকি ১৯৯৭ এর ১৩ ই এপ্রিল বিকাল বেলার বাংলাদেশ জাতীয় ক্রিকেট দলের আই. সি. সি. ট্রফি জেতার অনুভূতির থেকেও বহু-বহুগুন বেশি ছিল !! বলে কি !!!? আবার অনেক মুরুব্বি গোছের মানুষকে এটাও বলতে শুনেছি ৭১ এর ১৬ ই ডিসেম্বর এ একটা অখুশি গোষ্ঠীও ছিল যারা এই স্বাধীনতা চায়নি। কিন্তু ৯৭ এর ১৩ ই এপ্রিল এমন কোনো অখুশি গোষ্ঠী ছিল না। আর যদি থেকেও থাকে তাহলে ওই গোষ্ঠী আর ৭১ এর ডিসেম্বর এর অখুশি গোষ্ঠী এক না। এখনতো আর এই দেশের প্রতি কোনো আনুগত্য নেই আমার (এটা বলতে আমার কোনো দ্বিধাও নেই ) কিন্তু শৈশব -কৈশোরের বিশাল একটা সময় কেটে গেছে এই দেশের উন্নতি , এই দেশের দুঃখী মানুষগুলোর জীবনযাপনের উন্নতি , সবকিছুতে " বাংলাদেশ " এর বিশ্বজয় এর স্বপ্নের ঘোরে। অনেকটা সেই ক্লাস সেভেন বা এইটের " ইংলিশ ফর টুডে " বইতে পড়া দেশপ্রেমের ঘোরগ্রস্ত এক স্কুল বালকের মতো, যে শুধু স্বপ্নই দেখতো বাংলাদেশকে উন্নত দেশের কাতারে নেবার , কিন্তু এই দেশের মানুষের মন-মানসিকতার সমস্যা গুলো জানতো না। .......................................................................................  ঘোর কেটে গেছে , একটু ও বাকি ছিল না । কিন্তু সর্বশেষ এই নির্মম তামাশাটাকে কেন যেন মেনে নিতে পারছি না। ফেসবুকে তার ওয়াল এ কি এমন স্ট্যাটাস দিয়েছিলো ভাই ছেলেটা !!? তার নিষ্পাপ ঘোরটা ছিল তার দেশকে নিয়েই। এই বাংলাদেশ কে নিয়ে , হয়তো বাংলাদেশের সংকটাপন্ন স্বার্থ - সার্বভৌমত্ব নিয়ে। শাসক গোষ্ঠীর দেশ বিক্রির চুক্তি দেখে সে হয়তো আমার মতো মনে মনে দেশপ্রেম বিসর্জন দিয়ে দু' হাত ঝেড়ে বসে থাকতে পারেনি। এক অসহায় ছাত্র তার মাতৃভূমির স্বার্থ এবং অস্তিত্ব সংকটে তার বিক্ষত হৃদয়ের দুঃখ- গ্লানি একটু সাহিত্য দিয়ে ভাসিয়ে দিতে চেয়েছিলো। আল্লাহ এর কাছে হয়তো এটাই কবুল হয়ে গেছে। কিন্তু আমার প্রশ্ন খুনি গোষ্ঠীর "ঘোর " টা নিয়ে। ওটা আসলে কি ছিল !!? ভয় !!? ক্ষোভ !!? ওটাও কি দেশ-প্রেম !!? ............... জবাব আপনারা দেবেন। ......তবে তার আগে দেশপ্রেম নিয়ে নিচের দুটো উক্তি দেখে নিন ( The Rock , ১৯৯৬ মুভি থেকে নেয়া ) :

Glorious Expression of Gratitude to the Inspiring Wife by the Valiant Hero

Maa Shaa Allah !! What an extraordinary way by the "Hero" to thank his wife for motivating the husband to get through the tough challenge!! This is the first time, I appreciate Sakib Al Hassan for something other than cricket. I mean we hear lots of stories of valiant triumphs by heroes and also the story of them getting inspired by their wives. But, when we see in such a glorious occasion, such a triumphant husband in such a surprising way utilizing the privilege of his hard earned fame to declare the contribution of his wife behind his success, how the lady inspired him and took his spirit up against all the odds, a lot of other wives get inspired to inspire their men in the same manner. A lot of other husbands get inspired to be inspired by their wives ahead of any tough challenge in their lives, to overcome any tough hurdle in their way. May be for the first time from me Sakib , Hats off to you !! You’ve just inspired the entire nation to produce more heroes, Ma shaa Allah!! Al Hhamdulillah.

Bangladesh losing to their lack of high profile tournament experience After Tamim and Mushfiq's Good Show with the Bat

Yuh...!! At least 40 runs short of a good first innings total against England on such a placid track....I should say...!!! Innings acceleration was badly missed specially in the later part of the first 50 overs of the match what otherwise was an impressive show of Bangladeshi batting. In my words, that actually was the point where the game got shifted towards English side giving them a breath of relief and confidence as well of getting back on the match from a stage where Bangladesh was cruising along at 260 for 2. The bad thing about this sort losses defending 300 odd runs is that the bowlers of the losing side get demoralized .....let alone the batters..!! That being said, I do divulge, Bangladesh Al Hhamdulillah has done fairly better than what was feared after that batting disaster against India in the Practice match just two nights back. And take it or not , it still is a learning curve for Bangladesh playing so intensely competitive " Champions Trophy " after a decade and that too on English Conditions against the Team of England who are at the pick of their ODI Form in recent months.

Truly Unpredictable Pakistan Cricket !!!

Talk about the old glorious unpredictability of Pakistan cricket in the 80's and 90's that the world thought washed away by the Arabian Sea. Now it has truly made it's glorious return in it's very own "Unpredictable and Unsubmissive" manner to it's birthplace, Al Hhamdulillah. This second edition of Pakistan Super League, PSL 2017 in UAE from the very beginning provided its fans with the unique Pakistani taste of nail biting contest till the last over, till the last delivery, tremendous fighting spirit and absolutely unthinkable match results at the end of crunch moments after a lot of twists and turns. And that very much has set the tone of whole tournament so far if you look at the match results. How many times do you see teams in a franchise T20 tournament successfully defending 120 or 130 odd runs chasing 200 runs with extra ordinary coming back from periodical collapses and then wining or losing by a factor of a single run at the very last delivery of the match in a regular basis !!? Alongside the international game changers, like Kevin Peterson , Chris Gayle , Darren Sammy, Tamayl Mills etc I have seen some impressive performance and fighting ability from some emerging local talents of Pakistan. It's really amazing to see a country deprived of international cricket for near about a decade, still producing adequate amount of game changing young talents who can deliver when the team needs them to perform and gradually become a formidable player to their opponent teams. As a very old fan of Pakistan cricket (from the 90s when I was a high school boy) I can now be optimistic about getting back the old unpredictable Pakistan (with the likes of Wasim, Waqar, Injimam, Ijaj, Saeed Anwar, Shoib Akhtar, Sawlain Musthaq, Afridi) with a new bunch of emerging talents who truly posses the quality to bring back the Pakistani spirit of getting back on the game from an absolute wreckage. Behold world cricket !! The surpriser , the stunner, the mind blower, the cricket redefiner spirit and power and has truly been brought back by the brave people of Pakistan who are truly unsubmissive to any threat from their enemies In shaa Allah, Al Hhamdulillah. Wish I could see the final between my favorite Peshwar Zalmi and my wonder, Quetta Gladiators in Lahore. Never the less, here from Bahrain, from the core of my heart I congratulate the victorious and gallant people of Pakistan on their win over all the ominous attacks against their cricket, against their great nation. You guys rock !! I wish you all, all the very best In shaa Allah. Pakistan Zinda Baad.

First 40 Days in Bahrain

It was just exactly mid August when I arrived here in Bahrain on a Gulf Air flight from Dhaka. First time going out of the country , first time riding on a Jet Plane, first time in an Arab land... well, I can add a lot to this 'first time' list to talk about this epic tour. But, now decided to start it with the very interesting dramatic weather that I experienced first time in my life staying here in #Bahrain for last forty days.

12.55 pm , August 15, 2016 was the time of touch down and a few minutes later I was out at the stairs. Stopped by a crew at the bottom of the stairs as the shuttle bus was filled with the first batch, I could a'ready feel the scorching mid August hit outside the shade.

Then after passing LMRA and Immigration at around 4.30 pm, I finally stepped out in the open at airport's parking lot to get into my friend's car. There I got the perfect slanting Sun washed warm reception in Bahrain's gorgeous weather. But, that was just the beginning....!! I gotta say, I enjoyed the whole ride from airport to Jid Ali. Laying eyes on beautifully decorated and developing Manama, watching the smooth roads and bridges, auto controlled signals in the cross roads (without any traffic Police) and traffics working perfectly without any honking horns, I got all my journey (and immigration) fatigues washed out, Alhamdulillah. Later in the evening, we went to the embassy of Bangladesh. A program was arranged there for the Bangladeshi expats on the occasion of Bangladesh's National Mourning Day (August 15). Something, that I had already seen in the morning on that day in Dhaka on my way to airport. Now that felt good too, that I didn't have to miss the occasion even after such a long journey.

Then just after the evening, it arrived...!!

And the best part is, with my get up, I was not ready for it at all. It's the thing for what I considered the hit I experienced outside the airport just the beginning....... Yes !! the sudden spike in humidity....!! With my full sleeve formal shirt and jeans I went through the 'eye of the storm' feel of that suddenly popped up sticky hot weather... Sweating inside my getup, shaking hands with all others in t-shirts and polo shirts in the embassy yard, I asked almost everybody several times ,"Is it likely to rain now !!?"Defying my hope of relief, all of 'em answered in negative and said it (this boiling sticky hot weather) is very natural here in summer. And so it stayed all night...!! Next few days, while visiting some interesting places in this beautiful country I was craving for the this crazy humidity to move away from this Kingdom and let me have some appeasing hangouts with just the warming Sun on my shoulders.

.... After about a month or so , I mean in mid September Alhamdulillah !!, I finally started to feel that prized drop in temperature and moisture in the air.

Attended the prayer of Eid ul Adha at the beautiful grand mosque in Manama. That was another great experience for me to here the whole gathering chanting Taqbeer-e- Tahrima in chorus starting after Fajar right to the start of Sataat-u- Eid-ul-Adha. After the prayer we attended some Eid invitations from some Bangladeshi expat families. It was pleasant to have some homey touches after a while with their hospitality. Had a brief hang out after that at the Dolphin Park at Marina Sea Beach and that was awesome, Subhyan Allah !! That actually was a revitalizing strike of bewitchment to my worn out mind.

Later in the night, enjoyed playing a beach football match with a few Bangladeshi expats at the magnificent sea beach of Zallak..... And trust me that's a very soothing, relaxing and consoling place to be if you have a taste of taking a refreshing walk along the seashore at summer nights. The level of security and all other facilities there are quite top notch.
Forget the refreshing sea beaches, if you just take a walk along the footpath and stand beside a zebra crossing to cross the road you are very likely to see the cars slowing down or just stopping near you letting you cross the road presenting you a humble gesture. Now to me, this little demeanor is very imposing and inspiring. I've personally got a feedback from one of my countrymen that this courtesy that the people of this island very usually offer to the pedestrians on the road could actually be the most captivating things about the Bahrainis in the eye of a foreigner. Lesson to learn is that how the simple practice of a cordial mannerism by the citizens of a country can make a warm impression to it's guests.
After a few days, finally the moisture was totally replaced by a refreshing breeze AlHhamdulillah and I got a very different impression on the local weather. I personally posted a lot of pics and some videos on my Facebook wall while enjoying the sun and the breeze out there in the open in a lovely weather Subhyan Allah. I think I missed this for years. Sometimes that breeze would feel so refreshing that you might think of applying for the citizenship of this Kingdom.. Well, at least for the period of late September to early March I may add....

I forgot to talk about a very important think. Yuh !! , the delicious food and the diners in Bahrain. In one word I'd say that was another 'excellent' entry to the list of wonderful experiences on this tour. There are plenty of restaurants, bakeries, food shops, coffee shops, BBQ store etc from almost all nationalities in the world spread allover in Bahrain. And all of 'em has no way but to maintain the quality and taste with a regular checkup of the concerned authority of Bahrain government in a competitive open market. Some of the exquisite diners felt very interesting to me because of their style of serving the food on a specialized floor mat on the floor or on a plane surface. Following the Muslim tradition people from a group or a family eat there from the same big dish. If they don't want to come inside the diner or if there is no place inside to sit in, they just pull over in front of the shop or just park the car in a nearby free space and honk a mild horn. There are people working in such shops who come out at the sound of this and take orders from the customer inside the car , prepares the food and delivers them back. Quite convenient !! Isn't it !!?

In these 40 days, I made a lot of online job applications and looked for business opportunities. I haven't yet got any interview call for any of those online applications but I found a lot of prospects for the later and I wish I had the money to invest right now. IT System Integration , Telecommunications, Construction works, Food Shops, FMCG you name it, you're gonna find this island a fairly attractive place for business investments.. A lot of investors are swarming in discovering this huge prospect considering Bahrain's position among all other GCC nations. But, a lot of opportunities are still remaining to fill in.........(Just got back to writing after a long while .. so, a lot more is likely to follow In shaa Allah)
